Emerald K. Chhina

Emerald graduated from Delhi University, Faculty of Law, Delhi, India in 1998. She was admitted to the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana in 1999. She practiced as a litigation lawyer in Chandigarh, India before immigrating to Canada in 2006. Emerald obtained her Certificate of Equivalency from the National Committee on Accreditation, Federation of Law Societies of Canada in 2007. She was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2008.

Prior to attending Law School Emerald obtained an Honours degree in Psychology from the Punjab University, Chandigarh, India. Her knowledge of Psychology assists her to obtain a deeper understanding of her client’s problems. Emerald articled with Darnell and Company and on completing the articling term she was invited to join the firm as an Associate.
